While walking downtown last night to do some filming at the Kobe Luminaire, I stopped because there were some noisy flocks of what I think were starlings. They seemed to be aimlessly flying around in circles between some apartment buildings. I'm not sure why they were doing it, but it looked fun!

Goodness, they certainly make a racket.
I have a favorite Thai restaurant in San Francisco, Manivanh, that has big trees in front. I am thrilled when I find a parking place but, at sunset, the trees become filled with birds ( I think they're mynahs ) and, inevitably, when I come out, after a meal, I need a car wash. The darn things use my car for a potty.
